Description of activities:

The project includes participation in the following international trade fairs: Multimedia Integration Expo MIR, LEaT con – Live, Entertainment and Technology, Digital Signage Summit Europe (DSSE), Gitex Global, Hannover Messe, Gitex Africa, and Integrated Systems Europe, during the years 2025–2029.

The project carried out by EDBAK Sp. z o.o. focuses on the promotion and expansion of sales of technologically advanced screen and monitor mounts, TV stands and carts, information kiosks, and enclosures.

Target Groups:

The direct target group consists of Edbak’s current and potential customers.
The beneficiaries of the project’s outcomes include two main customer categories:

Project title:

Development of a business model for EDBAK’s operations based on the principles of the circular economy (CE).

Description of activities and planned effects:

Implementation of the project involves carrying out the following tasks:

Task 1: Development of a business model for circular economy (CE) transformation.

The consultancy services undertaken to prepare the circular economy (CE) transformation business model include the following activities, among others:

1. Conducting an analysis of the enterprise.

2. Developing the assumptions for the CE transformation model.

3. Developing the circular economy (CE) transformation business model, consisting of the following components:

a) Description of the Applicant’s business activity;

b) Analysis of the enterprise in terms of:
– technology,
– organization,
– logistics,
– production/product,
– sales;

c) Analysis of the enterprise in terms of CE implementation potential;

d) Environmental requirements;

e) Project innovativeness;

f) Method of developing project assumptions related to CE implementation;

g) Business segments identified for transformation towards CE;

h) Organisational changes related to CE implementation;

i) Cost structure of the CE implementation project;

j) Indicators describing CE-related changes in the company’s operations;

k) Risk management in the CE implementation project;

l) Business model – current state and proposed changes;

ł) Circular economy (CE) transformation business model matrix.

4. Review and discussion of the document.

5. Signing of the acceptance protocol.

Results:

As a result of these activities, a CE Transformation Business Model will be developed.

Description of activities:

The first stage of the Project involved conducting a design audit and developing a design strategy.

Following the completion of the design audit, a Design Strategy was developed, containing the following recommendations for further actions related to the use of design within the company:

A] Implementation of a product innovation in the NON-ELECTRIC product line featuring manual height adjustment with an active gravity compensation mechanism, based on design-driven development.

Activities:

1/ Purchase of consultancy services necessary for the implementation of the product innovation

– Design of a new NON-ELECTRIC product line with smooth height adjustment, without the use of electric actuators, featuring an active gravity compensation mechanism

Project title:

Automation and robotization of production processes at Edbak Sp.z o.o.

Description of activities and planned effects:

Implementation of the project involves carrying out the following tasks:

Task 1: Automation and robotization of company processes

The following recommendations from the audit will be implemented:

  1. IT infrastructure to support human-machine information exchange

– Purchase of a server

– Server software

– Purchase of computer stations for engineering staff with software – 20 pcs.

  1. Automation of laser welding process – Laser welding process line

– Equipment of the workpiece assembly station

– detail storage table with equipment

  1. Automation of the workpiece bending process

– Press brake with tooling

– CNC hydraulic 4 roll coiler

As a result, process changes will be implemented:

– Robotization of the laser welding process

– Automatic quality control of the workpiece bending process,

as well as the product innovation RTV mount with digital control will be implemented

Task 2: Conduct a technology audit/diagnosis of the enterprise’s digital maturity and develop a roadmap.

Task costs:

– Conduct an audit, develop a roadmap for transformation to Industry 4.0.

– optimization of production costs, which will translate into increased profits and the possibility of greater price competitiveness of products,

– Improving the quality of products which will translate into lower costs of commercial service/complaints, lower production costs (reduction of shortages and rework), as well as improving the image and brand of Edbak

Description of activities and planned effects:

The project will involve the purchase of infrastructure for conducting R&D work at Edbak Ltd. The following work is planned:

  1. Design work for new products: infokiosks, head, handles and positioning systems

2.Simulation studies of new structures by FEM technique

  1. Development, optimization and research of manufacturing technologies for new structures
  2. Prototyping of new infokiosk designs, head and systems
  3. Strength and kinetic testing of new infokiosk, head and system designs
  4. Climate and performance testing of new infokiosk designs, head and systems
  5. Testing of welded structural components
  6. Testing of bioplastic and plastic structural components
  7. Material testing of components of new infokiosk designs, head and systems
  8. Testing of the system for maintaining the operating conditions of the information kiosk with the signaling system.

The R&D work will result in new innovative products from Edbak Sp. z o.o., as well as R&D services performed on the purchased infrastructure.

Target groups:

Among the target groups of the new product can be mentioned enterprises (including SMEs) and their employees, residents of the region (but also from other regions of Poland and the world), using the results of the projects.

Project title:

Expansion into a new market through participation in a trade show at Edbak Sp.z o.o.

Description of activities:

The subject of the project is participation in international trade fairs:

1) ISE 2026 in Barcelona

2) Smart Cities Summit 2025

AV Edbak’s digital signage products will be the subject of promotion at the fair.

Target groups:

The direct target group is Edbak customers. In addition, the target group of the project will be SMEs from the Lubelskie Voivodeship and their employees, including the Applicant’s company and its employees, who will take part in international fairs promoting Edbak products This will contribute to the promotion of Polish and Lubelskie products and to the recognition and increased importance of Lubelskie enterprises in the international arena.

Project Objective:

The aim of the project is to increase the competitiveness of Edbak through participation in international trade fairs

Planned effects:

– Increasing the recognition of Edbak products in foreign markets thanks to promotion at the industry’s most prominent trade fairs

– entry into the Portuguese market

– Gaining access to new buyers; expanding the international distribution network by winning new foreign business contracts

– Increase in sales of products for export, which have great potential to compete in international markets

The final result of the project will be to increase Edbak’s competitiveness and improve its financial result, which will be the foundation for further development of the company. In addition, the project will contribute to the promotion of Polish products by presenting market-attractive and high-quality products to a wide range of customers in various regions of the world.
